Here are pictures of my Blythe! (For whom this blog is named.)

So here she is, looking slightly miffed at little Bartholomew for hogging the spotlight, which seems to be what he does best. More pictures of him in the window at the bottom of the post.

In the second picture, she has on this spiffy little outfit I made for her. I think it's kind of cute, just like her.
This last picture of Raspberry is her wearing the dress in the first picture, but you can see it more clearly.

And here are pictures of our new kitten Bartholomew. He is small and soft, and so very tactile, it's like he's an orphan or something. He is constantly seeking reassurance that we love him and are going to feed him. He is not content unless he's touching one of us at all times, and frequently we'll hear him crying out if he's all alone in a room. Jamie seems to like him, he smells him a lot, and he's gotten friendlier since the kitten came, although this may simply be due to jealousy. I don't care. I'm grateful.
And now, pictures of little Bartholomew.

For some reason, this one is my favorite picture of him. He's just so sweet and inquisitive looking. And he is. He's learned how to get everywhere. We have to keep the toilet lid down, or he'll jump in there and drown. He already fell in once before.

His and Jamie's favorite place, oddly enough, is the bathroom. They just like being in there. They go in early in the morning when we wake up, and like as not, they're in there still around 10. At least, they were this morning. God knows what they find to do in there. Jamie used to drink out of the toilet bowl, but he can't since we started closing the lid, and I can't imagine they find anything interesting to talk about. Thankfully they haven't found the singular joy that comes with toilet paper shredding. It's only time, though.
Until later,
Ashlea
