I really really like what I just bought off of eBay.

So I just bought a Pullip doll off of eBay. And I am super excited. Really. I can't wait for her to come. She has long dark hair and dark eyes, and she's just so so pretty!

I also just read "Me Talk Pretty One Day" by David Sedaris, and let me tell you, it is wonderful! He's so very clever; it's how I imagine I sound in some of my more elaborate daydreams. The ones I give a lot of thought to. Also, coincidentally, he describes having daydreams similar to mine. And here I was, all along, thinking I was singular. Thinking I was especially creative, and the entire time, others do it too. I never even considered that.

And I do have daydreams. They can make the long hours before I have to get up on a Saturday morning go by very quickly, and they make my almost-but-not-quite two mile walk to work every day bearable. Although I have to be careful and make sure I don't go the wrong way. Which I have done, once. I was laughed at quite a bit for that mistake. Luckily, people tend to think that's just my natural state--slightly lackadaisical--so I don't get ridiculed too much. I guess I'm regarded as somewhat silly, actually.

And I do babble. A lot. As evidenced by the words above.

But! Back to my book review. I lovelovelove this book, and I want to read even more by David Sedaris. I already like Amy Sedaris' books, and "Me Talk Pretty One Day" makes me want to read those again. Of course, hers are practical, so I don't feel guilty for reading them when I should be doing something constructive, like washing the dishes or cleaning the litterbox.

Which reminds me, I made my cat a new toy, but when I tried to play with him, he was more interested in attacking my hands than the toy, even though it was quite intriguing, if I do say so myself. It was bright and jingly, owing to the bells it was quite literally covered with, and had feathers going in all directions, and a long fuzzy string. All the elements for a good, irresistable cat toy, but he was having none of it. Stupid cat.
